Staff: Hello, this is the Sakura Restaurant.

あの、明日（あした）の夜（よる）、席（せき）を予約（よやく）したいんですが。

Customer: Um, I'd like to book a table for tomorrow evening.

ありがとうございます。ご人数（にんずう）とお時間（じかん）はいかがなさいますか。

Staff: Thank you. How many people, and for what time?

四人（よにん）で、七時（しちじ）からお願（ねが）いします。

Customer: Four people, from seven, please.

かしこまりました。お名前（なまえ）をいただけますか。

Staff: Certainly. Could I take your name?

山田（やまだ）です。

Customer: Yamada.

山田（やまだ）様（さま）、七時（しちじ）にお待（ま）ちしております。

Staff: Mr Yamada — we'll be expecting you at seven.
