定期券を買う

すみません、通学定期（つうがくていき）を買（か）いたいんですが。

Customer: Excuse me, I'd like to buy a student commuter pass.

学生証（がくせいしょう）はお持（も）ちですか。

Station staff: Do you have your student card?

はい、これです。四月（しがつ）から通（かよ）うので、一日（いちにち）から使（つか）えるようにしたいんですが。

Customer: Yes, here it is. I start in April, so I'd like it to be valid from the first.

かしこまりました。区間（くかん）は自宅（じたく）の最寄り駅（もよりえき）から学校（がっこう）までですね。三か月（さんかげつ）と六か月（ろっかげつ）がございますが、いかがなさいますか。

Station staff: Certainly. The section is from your nearest station to the school, is that right? We have three-month and six-month passes — which would you like?

六か月（ろっかげつ）のほうが安（やす）くなるんですよね。じゃあ、そちらでお願（ねが）いします。

Customer: The six-month one works out cheaper, doesn't it. I'll take that, then.
