私の町

私（わたし）が住（す）んでいる町（まち）は、駅（えき）から歩（ある）いて行（い）ける小（ちい）さな町（まち）です。大（おお）きなデパートはありませんが、古（ふる）いお寺（てら）と広（ひろ）い公園（こうえん）があります。春（はる）になると、公園（こうえん）の花（はな）を見に来（みにく）る人（ひと）でにぎやかになります。前（まえ）は静（しず）かすぎると思（おも）っていましたが、住（す）んでいるうちに好（す）きになりました。今（いま）は都会（とかい）より住（す）みやすいと感（かん）じています。

The town I live in is a small one you can reach on foot from the station. There is no big department store, but there is an old temple and a wide park. When spring comes it grows lively with people coming to see the blossom in the park. I used to think it was too quiet, but while living here I came to like it. Now I feel it is easier to live in than the city.
