真理

人間（にんげん）の真理（しんり）の探究（たんきゅう）に対（たい）して不朽（ふきゅう）の貢献（こうけん）をした書物（しょもつ）を、我々（われわれ）は偉大（いだい）な書物（しょもつ）と呼（よ）ぶのである。

Those books which have made a lasting contribution to man's quest for truth, we call great books.

真理（しんり）は通例（つうれい）現在時制（げんざいじせい）で表現（ひょうげん）される。
