アザラシは夜（よる）にいっそう頻繁（ひんぱん）に浮上（ふじょう）してくるのだから、熊（くま）がアザラシを呼吸孔（こきゅうこう）のところで捕（つか）まえる可能性（かのうせい）は夕暮（ゆうぐ）れ以降（いこう）により高（たか）くなるのである。
