霊

肉（にく）によって生（う）まれたものは肉（にく）です。御霊（みたま）によって生（う）まれたものは霊（れい）です。

Flesh gives birth to flesh, Spirit gives birth to Spirit.

これで彼（かれ）の霊（れい）も浮（う）かばれるだろう。

With this his spirit will be consoled.
