葉っぱ

弟（おとうと）が返事（へんじ）をした。「『葉（は）っぱを恐（おそ）れていたら森（もり）には入（い）れない』と聞（き）いたことがある」

The younger brother replied, "I have heard: 'He who is afraid of the leaves must not go into the forest.'"

いつも男の子（おとこのこ）は、彼女（かのじょ）のところで、彼女（かのじょ）の葉（は）っぱで、王冠（おうかん）を作（つく）って森（もり）の王様（おうさま）ごっこをしてあそんだ。

And every day the boy would come and he would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play king of the forest.
