Adjective + noun modifier

Meaning

Both adjective types can directly modify a noun. i-adjectives attach directly (高い山). na-adjectives use な (静かな町).

Formation

Notes

Nouns can also modify nouns with の. So three modifier types in total: 高い本 (i-adj), 静かな本 (na-adj), 私の本 (noun+の).

I saw a high mountain. (i-adj + noun)
