Adjective te-form 〜くて / 〜で

Meaning

The te-form of an adjective joins adjectives in a list ("A and B") or links to a following clause. i-adj: drop い → くて. na-adj: stem + で.

Formation

Notes

For three or more adjectives, only the last conjugates for tense/politeness. Negative te-form: 〜くなくて / 〜じゃなくて (advanced).
