Meaning
Lists representative actions — "doing things like A and B". Implies other activities took place as well. The verbs take the ta-form base + り.
Formation
[verb ta-form-stem] + り + [verb ta-form-stem] + り + する
Notes
Use the same first part as the ta-form (e.g. 食べる→食べ, 読む→読んだ→読んだり). Final する conjugates for tense: した, します.
Examples
週末（しゅうまつ）は本（ほん）を読（よ）んだり、映画（えいが）を見（み）たりします。
On weekends I do things like read books and watch movies.
