Like/good/bad at doing のが好き・上手・下手

Meaning

Nominalizes a verb with の to express preference or skill: "like doing ~" (好き), "be good at ~" (上手), "be bad at ~" (下手). All use が (not を) before the na-adjective.

Formation

Notes

の here is the nominalizer ("the act of ~"). Alternate: 〜こと instead of の (少し歌うことが好き). こと is slightly more formal/written; の is more conversational.
