Target / time / recipient に

Meaning

A multi-purpose particle: (1) specific point in time, (2) destination of movement, (3) recipient/partner of an action, (4) location of existence.

Formation

Notes

Do NOT use に with relative time words (今日, 明日, 毎日, 来週). It IS used with clock times, days of the week, months, and dates.

Examples

I get up at 7 o'clock. (specific time)
