A flat denial of possibility — "there is no way ~", "it is impossible that ~".
Formation
[plain form] + わけがない · [na-adj] な / [noun] の + わけがない
Notes
Stronger than はずがない: はずがない says the speaker cannot see how, わけがない says it is out of the question. わけない is the casual contraction. Do not confuse with わけではない, which only denies a partial inference.
Examples
そんな話（はなし）、本当（ほんとう）のわけがない。
There is no way a story like that is true.
