Until / up to まで

Meaning

Marks an endpoint in time, place, or extent — "until / up to / as far as ~".

Formation

[time / place / amount] まで

Notes

Can stand alone (駅まで "as far as the station") or pair with から (AからBまで). までに (with に) means "by a deadline" — a different pattern.

Examples

五（ご）時（じ）まで働（はたら）きます。

I work until 5 o'clock.
