While doing 〜ながら

Meaning

"While doing ~ / doing ~ at the same time". Two actions happen simultaneously. Attach the ます-stem (drop ます) of the verb.

Notes

The MAIN action (the more important one) comes LAST. The 〜ながら action is the secondary one: 音楽を聞きながら勉強する = "study while listening to music" (studying is main).
