na-adjective predication 〜な + です

Meaning

na-adjectives behave like nouns. As a predicate, just add です: 静かです. To modify a noun, add な: 静かな町. NO い ending.

Notes

Conjugates like a noun/copula: past = でした, neg. = じゃないです / ではありません. Common N5: 静か, きれい, 元気, 有名, 大切, 簡単, 好き, 嫌い, 便利, まじめ.
