Permission 〜てもいいです

Meaning

"You may ~ / it's okay to ~". As a question (〜てもいいですか) = "May I ~?" As a statement = granting permission.

Reply to grant: はい、いいですよ. To refuse: いいえ、〜ないでください / いけません.
