Humble お〜する

Meaning

The general humble (謙譲語) pattern — lowers YOUR own action to raise the person it affects.

Formation

お + [verb ます-stem] + する / いたす · ご + [suru-noun] + する / いたす

Notes

Only for your own actions, and only when they touch the other person: お持ちします ("I'll carry it for you"). いたす is the more formal form of する. Verbs with their own humble word use that: 言う → 申す, 行く/来る → 参る, 見る → 拝見する, 聞く → 伺う.

Examples

お荷物（にもつ）をお持（も）ちします。

I'll carry your luggage.
