N5 adjective

i-adjective present affirmative 〜いです

Meaning

i-adjectives end in い and conjugate THEMSELVES. です only adds politeness (it does not conjugate). For present-affirmative, the adjective stays in 〜い form.

Notes

Almost all native Japanese adjectives end in い. Common N5 ones: 高い, 安い, 大きい, 小さい, 新しい, 古い, いい, 暑い, 寒い, 面白い, 美味しい, 忙しい.
