i-adjective present negative 〜くないです

Meaning

To make an i-adjective negative, drop 〜い and add 〜くないです (or the more formal 〜くありません).

Formation

[i-adj stem] + くないです / くありません

Notes

The stem is the adjective without 〜い. Note いい → よくないです (irregular; uses よ- stem).
