Meaning

Place demonstratives. ここ = here (speaker); そこ = there (listener); あそこ = over there (far); どこ = where?

Notes

Polite equivalents: こちら・そちら・あちら・どちら. The question word どこ takes the particle に/へ/で but never が alone.
