〜(よ)うが / 〜(よ)うと
No matter how 〜(よ)うが / 〜(よ)うと
Meaning
"No matter how/what ~", "whether ~ or not" — the main clause is unaffected.
Formation
[verb volitional] + が / と · [i-adjective かろ] + うが · [na-adjective / noun + だろ] + うが
Notes
Formal concession. The paired form 〜(よ)うが〜まいが sets an action against its negative, and the main clause is usually a declaration of the speaker's resolve.
