〜反面
On the flip side 〜反面
Meaning
"On the other hand ~" — two opposite qualities of the same thing.
Formation
[verb / i-adj plain] + 反面 · [noun] である + 反面 · [na-adj] な + 反面
Notes
Narrower than 一方で: 反面 demands a genuine contrast, typically one good side and one bad, whereas 一方で can simply list two parallel facts.
