〜おかげで
Thanks to 〜おかげで
Meaning
Credits a good outcome — "thanks to ~", "owing to ~".
Formation
[plain form] + おかげで · [noun] の + おかげで · [na-adj] な + おかげで
Notes
The mirror image of せいで: おかげで for good results, せいで for bad. おかげさまで is the set phrase used in reply to "how are you?" — おかげさまで元気です. Using おかげで for a bad outcome sounds sarcastic.
