〜ぶり
After an interval 〜ぶり
Meaning
"After an interval of ~" — how long it has been since this last happened.
Formation
[period] + ぶり · [period] + ぶりに + [verb]
Notes
Only for a gap that has now ended: 三年ぶりに会った ("met for the first time in three years"). 久しぶり is the everyday set form. Distinct from 〜間, which measures the stretch itself rather than the gap before a repeat.
