Meaning
"After doing ~". Attach to the ta-form of a verb, or a noun + の. Note the contrast with 〜前に (which uses the dictionary form).
Formation
[verb ta-form] + 後で / [noun] の + 後(で)
Notes
The verb before 後 is ALWAYS in the ta-form (past). に is also possible: 〜た後に (more formal). で emphasizes "after that".
Examples
ご飯（はん）を食（た）べた後（あと）で、歯（は）を磨（みが）きます。
